Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Show,
Saturday and Sunday, May 29th and 30th.

This is outreach and demo only, no sales, to make our presence better known

Plein Air Painting at the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse in
Peninsula State Park

Saturday, June 19th, 8:00 – noon, and Saturday, July 10th, same
time.

After the second session, participants’ work will be displayed in Fish Creek
with a reception and awards. FYI: If you do not have a park sticker, you can
purchase a day sticker for this event. Park stickers are good in any state park.
The Eagle Bluff curator, Patti Podgers, contacted DCAL and asked us to do

“Off the Wall,” Sister Bay Village Hall easel show,
July 23rd – 25th. No fee.

All artwork in the show must have a sturdy easel. Larger pieces should have a
floor easel. Easels will be roped off to avoid accidents. There will also be a
section for 3-D art. Deliver work to the Village Hall Friday morning, July
23rd. Set-up is Friday afternoon, and a reception will be 4 – 6 PM Friday.
Artwork will be for sale during the reception. The show will continue
Saturday, July 24th, 10 – 4, and Sunday, July 25th, 10 – 3. Sign up at general

Settlement Shops Outdoor Shows,
Saturday, July 31st, and Saturday, September 25th. $5 fee to
participate.

The organizers are setting aside 4 spaces for the League for each show. These
are the Settlement’s regularly scheduled events and will be well-advertised.
League members will share 4 tents; a couple of people may be needed to bring

2010 Festival of the Arts, Sister Bay,
August 14th. $20 fee for this event.

As of now, DCAL has reserved one 10 X 10 space for the show. If more people
are interested, another space will be added. Participants should arrive at 8
AM to help with set-up and display. Demos are required throughout the day;
people can take turns working and demonstrating. Marcia Nickols is

24th Annual Juried Exhibit and Master’s Presentation at the Link
Gallery in Fish Creek

September 9th – Oct. 12th. $20 to participate.

Prospectus

There will be three (3) $100.00 “Awards of Excellence” and six (6)
“Honorable Mention” (gift certificate) awards as determined by the exhibit
judge. Intake will be Thursday, September 9th; show pick-up will be Tuesday,
October 12th. Reception and Master’s presentation will be Sunday,
September 12th. The complete prospectus will be in the July newsletter.

frame. 3-D work may also be displayed, as long as it meets size restrictions.
